Phoenix, AZ (December 30, 2018)– A woman has been hospitalized following a wrong way driving incident where she collided into another vehicle in Phoenix Sunday afternoon December 30th. According to Phoenix Police Department, the 25-year old woman was driving the wrong way on a road near the Metro Center Mall when she collided into another vehicle.
EMTs responded to the scene and transported the 25-year old woman to a nearby hospital where she was treated for a leg injury sustained during the collision. A woman and man inside the other vehicle were also transported to the hospital where they were treated as a precaution. It was reported that someone had been ejected during the collision but the police later updated that there were no ejections as a result of the crash. A police spokesman stated that the 25-year old driver is under investigation for possible impairment. No further information was immediately available.
