A pedestrian accident occurred in north Phoenix that left one woman dead.
Sgt. Tommy Thompson revealed that the woman died following the crash on Saturday. Police say that although they do not know how the accident occurred, they suspect that Jennifer Millerbis was hit first by a white sedan and left in the roadway as the car fled.
She was then hit by the semi as she was lying injured in the road.
The truck driver apparently stayed at the scene and was evaluated for drug and alcohol use but was clean.
