Glendale, AZ – A van strikes a motorcyclist forcing him to be transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries Friday night.

The van turned onto Glendale Avenue near 67th Avenue from a private driveway when it hit the motorcyclist at about 7:00 p.m. The motorcyclist, wearing a helmet, attempted to escape the oncoming van but failed. He was ejected from his motorcycle then his body skid and rolled across the road.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital. He is expected to recover from serious injuries.
Neither motorist was intoxicated at the time of the crash according to investigators.
