Tucson, AZ – Two men died in separate collision against different walls on or along Drexel Road Monday morning.

The first accident occurred on West Drexel Road near Midvale Park at around 3:15 a.m. The vehicle was traveling at high speeds when it lost control and veered to the shoulder causing it to roll over multiple times until crashing through a stone wall and falling into the ditch near South Woodcrest Drive. The driver, a 20-year old man was extricated from his vehicle but was pronounced dead on the scene. There was no one else in the car with him.
Hours later at about 5:00 a.m. the second accident happened, a man also 20-years of age was driving a vehicle westbound on East Holladay Street near East Drexel and Country Club before it crashed. The driver lost control of his vehicle which stopped after it crashed against a brick wall on East Holladay. The man died on impact. There was no else traveling in the car with him.
Both bodies were transported to the coroner’s office and will be tested for alcoholic and drug intoxication. Police closed down the streets and continue to investigate the accidents.
