A crash on Wednesday afternoon in Avondale left three people seriously injured after a minivan and a four-door sedan collided.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Dysart and Osborne roads.
The minivan was carrying six people and was attempting to take a left hand turn from Dysart to Osborn when it was hit by the sedan on its side. The minivan then flipped over.
The van was carrying a 19-year-old pregnant woman, who was taken to the hospital, but was not seriously injured. A fourth victim did not wish to be taken to the hospital, but was taken by emergency crews regardless.
A helicopter arrived at the scene as a precaution.
