Sun City, AZ – Three car crash on a busy intersection leaves one man unconscious and police investigating Friday morning.

A 74- year old man traveling south on Grand Avenue through the 107th Avenue intersection at around 9:30 a.m. was t-boned on the driver side in Oldsmobile by a truck. He had the green light and had the right of way through the intersection. The impact pushed one of the vehicles into another, a Pontiac, hitting the driver’s side of the vehicle as well.
Sun City Fire responded to the three vehicle crash. The 74-year old man was found unconscious and was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix. The 50-year old truck driver transported to John C. Lincoln Hospital and treated for minor injuries. The other driver, a 24-year old woman denied medical attention.
The crash is being investigated to determine if the light signals were incorrectly synchronized.
