Scottsdale, AZ – Southbound Loop 101 was closed for a few hours while authorities dealt with a single rollover crash that left one man injured.

The crash occurred Wednesday morning near Raintree Drive before about 9:30 a.m.
Heading southbound, the vehicle lost control and crashed into a freeway wall – causing severe damage to both the vehicle and the wall. Debris from the vehicle was scattered throughout the southbound freeway lanes.
The victim, the driver of the vehicle in the collision, was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn with non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
According to various sources, Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) confirmed the closing of the southbound lanes at the Raintree exit from the time authorities arrived on the seen until about noon.
