A motorcycle accident in on Friday morning left on police officer seriously injured, according to the Phoenix police department.
According to statements, the officer was traveling near the intersection of 107th Avenue and Beardsley when a pack off coyotes ran into the road just in front of him. He swerved to avoid them and accidentally tipped over his bike, causing him to fly over the handlebars and into a ditch on the side of the road.
He suffered from a fractured hip and shoulder, when emergency crews came to take him to the hospital.
He was flown to the hospital in helicopter.
