Car chase involving a large SUV and Phoenix police vehicle leaves two dead.
Police reports say they pulled over the 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe for a traffic violation. As soon as the Phoenix peace officer approached the vehicle, the driver of the SUV hit the gas pedal and drove off initiating the persecution.
The car chase came to a tragic end after the SUV ran red light, hit a concrete wall and smashed into a light post killing the driver of 32 and one passengers of 28.
An investigation has been launched. Names and further details such as the speed of the chase are yet to be released.
