A Phoenix heist did not go as planned when the criminals crashed into a vehicle after their escape.

Tuesday night four men assaulted and robbed a local Circle K store, fleeing the scene in white SUV.
Minutes following their robbery, on 44th Street and Osborn, they crashed into an oncoming sedan. The front of the sedan was destroyed, the airbags deployed and debris blanketed the street. The SUV was not damaged as bad, but its windows were blown and a few items flew out. No one was seriously injured.
The criminals fled the scene. On the run, one even attempted to break into someone’s home to hide.
When police arrived, they discovered amongst the accident debris, stolen cartons of beer. Police were able to catch all the criminals and managed to take them to custody.
