Phoenix, AZ – Six people were transported to the hospital Friday morning when the vehicles in which they were traveling in crashed.

Two vehicles were traveling near Indian School Road at about 5:30 a.m. when they crashed. The cause of the accident, according to CBS 5, is unknown. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of 28th Street and Indian School Road.
Six people traveling in the vehicles were transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries has not been released to the public.
Authorities closed Eastbound Indian School road at 28th Street and northbound 28th Street at Indian School Road.
The accident is under investigation.
