A Glendale resident has died after being struck by a car while walking home on Saturday night. The man was walking along Bethany Home Road near 47th Avenue and crossed the street when he was hit.
Authorities found him with severe head trauma. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The police are still investigating what caused the accident, but are still unsure if alcohol or drugs impaired those involved.
