The 7-year old boy was riding the family quad on his family’s property near Glendale unsupervised when the accident occurred. The boy lost control of the off-road vehicle and was ejected. He was not wearing a helmet and upon impact suffered major injuries, one of which caused him to bleed from the ears.
Police received a call around 2:30 p.m. When authorities arrived, the boy was breathing but still bleeding from the ears. He was airlifted to the closest trauma center.
The only people who were near the child at the time of the accident were several ranch hands who were riding quads nearby.
