Interstate-8 in Yuma, AZ was closed this morning while crews cleaned up debris from a multi-car crash; a crash that sent several people to the hospital.

Commuters on the I-8 westbound had to find an alternative route. The automobile pile up that occurred at 8:15 am forced Arizona Highway Patrol to shut down the freeway while emergency vehicles rushed victims to the hospital and clean-up crews did their job.
The accident occurred near Araby Road Exit westbound on the I-8 which was and still is undergoing construction.
