A Mesa woman caused two motor vehicle accidents in one day according to police in Gilbert on Tuesday.
Melinda Wauneka, 34, of Mesa, was traveling north of Cooper near the intersection with Guadalupe when she allegedly struck another car. She then continued to drive north in an apparent attempt to escape, when she hit a motorcyclist and caused him to veer off course for about 200 yards.
