A man was walking alone on Bethany Home Road toward 47th Avenue when he was hit by a car.
Apparently, the man turned left to cross the road when he was struck by the car in Glendale on Saturday night. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the accident and are questioning witnesses.
The identity of the victim will not be released until family has been notified.
