A car smashed into a wall near the intersection of 91st Avenue and Glendale and then ran from the scene, according to the Peoria police.
The man apparently struck the wall of a home’s cinderblock fence, then took off on foot after neighbors called the cops,
Officers found him hiding in the neighborhood after they set up a perimeter to search for him. A police dog led officers to his location.
The suspect was injured and police are unsure why he ran from the scene.
