A 31-year-old man was arrested in northern Arizona for “super extreme DUI” when witnesses spotted him driving erratically on Friday night.
Bradley Witt was arrested by the Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies on a street in Kingman at about 7 p.m. after authorities received several calls of him driving erratically.
Deputies said that the interior of Witt’s car smelled like alcohol when they pulled him over, and Witt admitted that he had been drinking.
Authorities issued a field sobriety test, which Witt failed. According to the test, his blood-alcohol level was at .206 percent.
He was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence, DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of more than .08 percent, extreme DUI with a BAC of more than .15 percent, super extreme DUI with a BAC of more than .20 percent.
Deputies in Mohave County have a history of arresting people with super extreme DUIs. In 2011, Shaun Deter of Kingman was arrested when he asked a fireman to help him find his car keys. His BAC was at .215 percent at the time of his arrest.
