Lake Havasu City, AZ- One driver is dead Monday after driving on the wrong side of Arizona Route 95, 12 miles south of Lake Havasu City.

A 24 year old driver from Salome, Arizona was heading southbound in his sedan when he crossed the center divider at around 6 a.m. He crashed head-on into the oncoming vehicle driven by a 56-year old Lake Havasu City resident. Both vehicles were totaled by the collision.
The younger driver was declared dead at the scene by Arizona authorities. The other, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he suffered critical bodily injuries.
The accident is being further investigated by authorities.
