Meadview, AZ – A car collision leaves one person dead and another injured in a north west Arizona turnoff Tuesday afternoon.

A group of Irish tourist were heading east in a Chevy Malibu near the Grand Canyon turnoff when their car swerved across the center line. They collided with a Toyota sedan head-on. The collision killed one of the men in the Malibu. He was 39-year old Francis Kelly. He was sitting in the back seat.
The other sedan was transporting a man, his wife and daughter.
Fire Department flew all but one of the people involved to a Las Vegas hospital. That person was transported to Kingman, Arizona for treatment. He was also a passenger in the Malibu sedan.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
