A grandmother and her grandson were crossing the street in Phoenix this weekend when they were hit by a car.
The accident took place at 12:30 p.m. near 12th Street and Indian Road.
The grandmother was transported to a local hospital, where she later died from her serious injuries. The grandson was also taken to the hospital, and his injuries are listed as non-life threatening.
