The driver accused of a hit-and-run was sentenced today of being guilty of manslaughter, driving under the influence and endangerment after he hit and killed a bicyclist.
The 55-year-old driver, Gary Lynn Foshee, hit and killed Russell Jenkins in a head-on collision at about 2 a.m. in August 2009 on Ocotillo Road near 228th Street.
Jenkins was traveling in the eastbound lanes with two other people when he was hit head-on by a car traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes.
