Chandler, AZ – A car collision outside of Chandler-Gilbert Community College leaves one person dead Thursday night.

An eighteen year old college was exiting the community college near the intersection of Pecos Road and Emmett Drive in his Hyundai around 7:00p.m., when the car accident occurred. According to authorities, a Ford Explorer t-boned his vehicle from the driver’s side; trapping him, and damaging his vehicle.
The sedan driver was rushed to hospital. He was in critical condition. Minutes upon arrival, the driver was declared dead.
Police are looking for witnesses, especially a motorcyclist who was making a turn at the time of the accident.
The accident remains under investigation. No further details have been released.
