Authorities are saying that Tuesday’s crash between a car and a motorcycle may require the amputation of the motorcycle rider’s leg.
The collision occurred around 8 a.m. at Northern and 31st Avenues, according to Phoenix authorities.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local trauma center for his leg amputation.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash. They did not mention whether the other driver was injured in the crash as well.
