Two people died in a head-on collision in West Phoenix early Monday morning.
The accident occurred at 4 a.m. between 67th Avenue and Indian School Road. According to police, two pick-up trucks smashed almost directly head-on killing both of their drivers instantly. Both of the drivers were male and alone in their vehicles.
Police say that the northbound vehicle swerved into the southbound lines and struck the other vehicle directly. There were no witnesses to the collision so police say it is difficult to determine what caused the vehicle to swerve onto the wrong side of the road.
