Scottsdale reopened the westbound lanes of the Loop 101 after a car accident that resulted in the serious injury of a motorcycle rider.
According to Scottsdale police, they received several calls concerning an erratic driver on the Westbound Loop 101. The car then struck the median wall and rolled over on top of motorcyclist.
The police are still investigating to see if impairment was a factor in the crash.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
