A car crash near Arizona State University in Tempe on Wednesday morning was caused by alcohol consumption, according to the Tempe Police Department.
The two-vehicle crash happened right around 2:30 a.m. on Apache Boulevard near College Avenue when a pickup truck and a sedan hit each other. Both cars were traveling eastbound.
The three occupants of the vehicles were all taken to medical centers to be evaluated for their injuries.
The crash is still under investigation. No ASU students were involved.
