Tempe, AZ (December 6, 2018) - A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle on the night of Thursday December 6, in Tempe Arizona. Police reported to the call at around 8:30 pm on 52nd and Broadway Roads. Police stated the vehicle was heading westbound on Broadway Road and drove through the intersection hitting a man on his bike who was traveling southbound on 52nd Road.
The bicyclist was announced dead at the scene. According to authorities, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is being investigated for impairment. The Intersection was closed due to further investigation.
