An ATV accident in Pinal County near Queen Valley left one person dead and another critically injured on Tuesday.
The accident occurred to the east of State Route 79 and south of route 60.
Both men were riding on a four-wheeled Polaris ATV and were not wearing any safety equipment such as seatbelts or helmets.
Police described both men as being in their 70s.
Walter McCary was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant was transported directly to the hospital for treatment.
Police have not yet determined who was driving the vehicle.
