TUCSON, AZ – Tucson Police Department responded to a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision that was reported Wednesday evening, February 5th. According to investigators, the incident occurred shortly after 6:00 P.M. near the intersection of Fort Lowell Road and Oracle Road when first responders arrived to find a male pedestrian unconscious in the roadway after apparently being struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The pedestrian was transported via ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. Tucson detectives are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.
