Eloy, AZ (December 6, 2018) - The Arizona Department of Public Safety is reporting the death of a 22 year old woman who was killed following a 3-vehicle collision near Tucson Thursday night December 6th. APD Troopers were summoned to report to a 3 vehicle collision that occurred on the eastbound Interstate 10 near Picacho Peak just north of Tucson around 11:00 p.m.
The 22 year old woman was killed when her vehicle went off westbound l-10, crossed the median and crashed with two eastbound drivers. The Department of Public Safety stated that one of the drivers of the eastbound vehicles was critically injured while the other driver injuries that weren’t life threatening. While authorities investigated the collision, one lane on each direction, the freeway reopened completely at around 3 a.m. Friday. No identities were released.
