Payson, AZ (October 13, 2018) – Two people died Saturday, October 13th, when their plane came barreling into a man’s home, Payson police stated. The crash happened at around 6:40 p.m. when a single-engine Cessna 240 went down under unknown circumstances and smashed into the home, causing extensive damage to both front and back of the residence. Authorities reported that Payson man Doug Denham, who had lived in the home for 23 years, was inside the home at the time of the crash.
He was found uninjured, and managed to exit the property safely, officials said. The two occupants of the Cessna were Phoenix residents, Raymond McEntee, 63, and Marilee Brusachetti, 56, and were killed at the scene. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
