Gilbert, AZ – A Two-vehicle head-on collision leaves a Gilbert police officer and a driver injured Friday night. The drivers were left with minor cuts and bruises after their vehicles collided.

As a police officer was driving a Gilbert police cruiser northbound on Cooper Road near Madera Parc, a southbound pickup-truck made a left turn in front of him. Both vehicles crashed at about 9:30 p.m.
While it was a head-on condition, neither victim involved in the crash required hospitalization.
Neither driver demonstrated impairment. The accident remains under investigation.
