Gilbert, AZ – Professional golfer crashes into home and raptures gas line Monday night.

Mathew Giles, an Australian golfer crashed his vehicle into a single-family home near the 3600 block of Fruitvale Avenue. Witnesses claim the golfer, 22-years old, was traveling at high speeds before losing control of his vehicle and crashing into the home. He was attempting to make a left hand turn and unable to control the vehicle before crashing it into the house rupturing the gas lines.
Giles received minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. There were no other victims involved.
The professional golfer was able to submit to a sobriety test. For now, he is being charged with three counts of DUI, including extreme DUI. Results of the exam will be released at the end of the month.
