Sierra Vista, AZ – Two people are dead and one person is left in serious condition after a car crash Wednesday afternoon.

Miles away from Tucson, a two-car crash claimed the lives of two people in Sierra Vista at about 1:00 p.m. The accident occurred on State Route 90 near Airport Avenue.
The victims, Sierra Vista residents 21- and 22-years of age were killed when the vehicle they were in crossed into opposing traffic and crashed with a sedan.
The driver of the sedan, 28-years of age, was in critical condition and airlifted to a Tucson hospital. She was traveling southbound at the time of the accident.
Authorities and accident Reconstructionist are investigating the accident.
