Phoenix, AZ – A two-car crash leaves two people injured and a vehicle spilling fuel on Interstate 17 Wednesday morning.

One lane of the I-17 off-ramp was closed when two vehicles crashed into each other near McDowell Road at about 9:30 a.m. Both vehicles suffered substantial damage. The fuel tank of one of the vehicles was ruptured and spilled fuel over the road.
The fire department assessed two victims for injuries. Cleanup crews alongside the fire department worked to contain the spilled fuel.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety will continue to investigate this accident.
