A three car collision killed two people on Arizona Interstate 10 in Tucson. A truck lost control on the interstate when it collided with an oncoming SUV Wednesday around 3:45 p.m.

The truck was traveling west near Wilmot Road when it lost control. It drove through the rough I-10 highway median. It then struck an oncoming SUV on the rear passenger side. A passenger vehicle, unable to avoid the collision struck the SUV on the opposite side.
The truck driver was fatally injured and died on the scene. The driver of the passenger vehicle, a father, was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he passed away a few hours after being transported. The driver of the SUV received minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
