A collision left one person dead after a mini-van ran a red light and hit another vehicle. The accident occurred in Phoenix between Northern and 43rd Avenues just after 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning.
The mini-van ran the red light and T-boned an oncoming SUV. The driver of the SUV and the two passengers in the mini-van were taken to a local hospital where the passenger of the mini-van later died. The driver of the SUV was released from the hospital after being treated for their injuries.
It was unclear as to what caused the accident, and the intersection is being shut down for investigation.
