A head-on crash injured three people on the westbound Interstate 10 in Phoenix on Wednesday morning.
Apparently, a woman and a 6-year-old girl were traveling eastbound on the 10 when another driver cut them off. The woman swerved to avoid the car and overcorrected causing her car to swerve off the road, through a barrier and into the westbound lanes.
A Ford pick-up truck on the westbound side then hit the car head-on.
The woman was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The girl and the driver of the truck were both injured as well, but are expected to survive. They were also taken to the hospital.
The westbound lanes are expected to be closed until 2 p.m.
